UAHLP offers targeted programmes for children, youth, women and seniors/disabled, as well as a wide range of activities all members of the community can take part in such as: sports, recreation, and physical fitness activities.

Healthy Eating, Active Living (H.E.A.L)

A weekly, ongoing healthy weight management programme that will equip participants with the skills, knowledge, attitudes and values needed to make healthy lifestyle choices in regards to build diet and exercise regimes. This 12-week programme will focus on nutrition, exercise, stress management, and establishing support networks to ensure your sucess.

Smoke Free Living/Smoking Cessation

This programme will promote a smoke-free lifestyle for you and your family through a variety of workshops and activities. Come meet with role models for smoke-free living and get the support you need to quit.

Bootcamp

Cardio and strength circuit training. This tough workout will help you improve your overall strength and endurance.

Powwow Bootcamp

Bootcamp with a twist. A powwow twist! This is a dancing cardio workout, inspired by powwow moves and powwow music. Instructed by Shady Hafez.

Boxing at the Beaver Boxing Club

This is a great exercise for everyone and all fitness levels. You will be taught the basics or more advanced boxing skills (based on your current level) and put through a great workout! This is located at the Beaver Boxing Club at 145 Spruce St. (near our new location at the City Centre).

Yoga

This is a great way to finish your busy day. You'll leave feeling much better and more relaxed than when you came in. This yoga is offered to everyone, for all fitness levels. We have a rotation of certified yoga instructors who come and teach from Prana Shanti. Mats provided if needed.

Jiu Jitsu

Martial Arts teachings by expert instructors. Open to participants 16 years old and above.

MMA

Mixed Martial Arts is instructed by black belt instructors. Open to participants 16 years old and above.

Powwow Dancing

Powwow dancers looking for a place to rehearse their moves before the next powwow? Come use our space and practice with other dancers, while it's still available.

Driving Range

Here's a chance to go out and rehearse your gold swing at the driving range at the 19th Tee. Buckets and clubs provided. This is located at 3690 Carling Ave.

Swimming

Swimming lessons for the children. Available for registered children only.

Soccer

Soccer lessons and drills for the children. For registered children only.
